Phoenix company sells coffee for dogs
Staff Reports
Nov. 16, 2007

In the race for coffee consumers, a Phoenix company has jumped into the lead with a new concoction that is strictly for dogs.

Doggy Java, set to hit the stores in December, won first and second places in the New Product Awards Dog category at SuperZoo 2007, a national show for pet retailers.

DoggyLicious, based in Phoenix with offices in El Dorado Hills, Calif., says that its doggy coffee may look like a canine cappuccino, but it is strictly caffeine-free.

The vitamin drink comes in a coffee bag, looks like coffee when mixed with water, is served in a “canine cappuccino cup” and comes with a Bonescotti biscuit.

DoggyLicious sells its Doggy Java online and expects it to be in stores next month.
