I’ll admit, this was a hard one. Thank you to all that entered, it was a fun contest.
Out of all the entries only one Dogster got three correct, that honor goes to Regina. Many got two correct, so I put the names into a drawing and chose Ava and Mr. McSkidles’s mom.
Our cute contest dog is named Riley. I already gave away the fact that he has Chow Chow in him so here are the other breeds: German Wire Haired Pointer, Scottish Terrier, Labrador Retriever, and Mini Schnauzer.
Dan Murphy, Riley’s owner, came across her picture on
the internet while searching for a terrier mix. He fell in love
immediately.“Riley really looks like a terrier, especially when
groomed, so I wasn’t surprised by the terrier result.
I would never have expected she was also part
Chow Chow, but you know, the dark blue coloring
on her tongue is typical of Chow Chows.”“Unlike my previous terriers, Riley is a quiet dog. We had
her 6 months before we even knew she barked. And
Chow Chows are known for being quiet.”“Terriers will chase anything that moves, but Riley is very
obedient. She doesn’t run-not even after the squirrels
in our yard. That must be the Chow Chow in her too.”
Thanks again to Mars Veterinary for their generous contribution of three Wisdom Panel MX tests. Congrats to our winners, we hope they’ll share the results when they get them back.
