By our judgement, this guy is a good and decent dog owner. Look: He’s taking his dog out for a stroll on a bitter, snow-socked day. Not just a trip to the sidewalk so his friend can attend to business, but a visit to an actual park — McGolrick Park in Brooklyn, according to the YouTube description.
And he outfitted his dog in adorable booties for his widdle paws. That’s a mark of a kind and decent dog owner. Booties are good — they prevent injury, chemical burns from deicers, frostbite, and ice balls from forming.
And they look great.
Also, look how happy his dog is! Scampering, woofing, thrilled to be alive in McGolrick Park on a snow-socked day. And this good and decent owner is so taken with his friend’s song of himself that he has his camera out, recording the good times.
Which brings us to his fatal mistake. He laughs at his dog. His dog slips on the ice, and he laughs. Oh, God certainly glanced over his newspaper at that one. Then the man says, through giggles, “Oh, too silly,” and God has had enough.
Wham. He goes down like a ton of bricks.
This is too good:
