We heard what you were saying about comment activity cluttering up your activity boards. So we took it out.
But we also heard a number of pawple say they found a number of new friends and important diaries, etc. so we’re going back to the drawing board on how to share this information. We’re no thinking that we’ll make an different recent activity view that links from the current activity page that would show comments as well as profile actions. And we’d also add an account option such that private pups can stop their comment actions from showing up in their friends activity pages…
The whole goal here is to help pawple find photos and stories that they want to see and hear. From the positive emails we’ve gotten from people pleased to be able to have discovered new furiends we know we’re on the right track. This has never been about trying to trick people into clicks or anything else I’ve heard. It stings that some folks think we are not acting sincerely, but that’s not going to stop us from trying to make this better every chance we can.
