For the first time in his 30-year career, McGruff the Crime Dog is revealing what is under his trademark trench coat. The gruff but caring dog sports a bit of a makeover in his latest video, about bullying. It’s fun to watch him take a bite out of crime in his updated duds and with his new animation style. And it’s about time we get to see what’s under that trench coat!
I like his opening lines: “My name’s McGruff. I’m the crime dog. I don’t just fight crime, I take a bite out of crime. I also scratch fleas. Not really.” The stylized new animation gives the taupe canine just the look he needs to enter his 30th year. Check out his video below.
