Bassetville Raises Money For Dog Rescue
All of this week’s strips all are up for auction at the BROOD Ramble to raise money for their basset hound rescue. The Ramble is Saturday the 27th but the auction is online at this link. (the Bassetville strips won’t show up in the auction until the day they are running on Bassetville.net)
The Saturday strip is doozy. They got an extra signature on the Mat to go along with the strip art. I can’t say too much to give away the surprise but if you if you are into 80’s TV it would be HAZARDous for you to not bid on the Saturday, May 27th strip in a FLASH.
Along with that the largest donation made to Bassetville by 7:00 in the morning Saturday the 27th wins the original art to the May 20th strip art as a way for me to cover the costs of getting to the Ramble and raising them a little more money. (50% of the donations will be given right to BROOD on my arrival to the Ramble.)
The Bassetville strips are a great auction prize, as are some of the other items! This looks like an a fabulous auction. I’m showing a few of the other prizes but if you’re a Basset lover, don’t miss checking them out at the BROOD site!
And for those of you who can resist the lure of a great auction, here’s what else is happening at the Ramble.

The Ramble is a three-mile walk along the shady C&O Canal, but people can turn back at any time.
Then afterwards we go to Diane’s house for the after-Ramble party, including socializing in five fenced-in acres!
