I have a long road trip coming up with my girlfriend. I love my girlfriend, but she has this habit of singing along to the radio to every single song! While, I’m glad she’s enjoying herself, her singing voice isn’t so great. Any suggestions?
I can’t say I don’t feel for you on this one. My owner has an unnatural love for power ballads from the ’80s. Imagine how many of those you can fit into a five-hour drive! Grown men with Aqua-Net helmets in leather pants singing about unrequited love. “Just like every night has its dawn, just like every cowboy sings his sad, sad song” … blah blah blah …
Here’s how I escape: Stick your head out the window as far as you can (before she grabs your leg and tries to pull you back in) and just ride with the wind! At about 70 mph, you won’t be able to hear anything. And you can play my favorite game. I like to call it “How many bugs can I catch in my mouth at the same time?”
Keep on truckin’!
