Animal Shelter Devastated

I found this story in the adoptions/rescue forums. This is shocking- This animal shelter in NewBraunfels TX was recently broken into and vandalized. The other link to the news story about it no longer works, but here is the link to their website– there a little info if you click on vandalism on the left hand side of their site. The shelter was basically completely destroyed and several of the animals were injured and even killed. How awful.

Dogsters around the world must be on top of the need because here is the message at the site.

We have received help from all over the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom

We have now received enough food, cleaning supplies, and cat litter to replace what was destroyed

If anyone hears about the authorities catching the vandals, please let me know!
