President Urges Dogsters To Sign Petition
As a patriotic member of the Dogster community I always try to pass on news from our President Isabel. Here’s the most recent from our duly elected president, seen to the left as she celebrates Passover:
President Isabel Roverandom wrote:
Hey Joy! Thanks for publicizing our Dogster Force Challenge. We have 231 members now, and of course we STILL NEED MORE!
I wanted to let you know that we have set up a link titled Animal Abuse Petitions. This is a link to all the active animal abuse petitions on the Petition web site. There are cases of abuse against all kinds of animals that need our voices, including those regarding our #1 issue: classifying animal abuse crimes as felonies.
And we are announcing a new membership challenge! We challenge all new members to not only invite 10 pals or more to join our group and add their barks and meows to ours, but to also get 10 friends, neighbors, and or coworkers to write their state and federal legislators urging them to classify animal abuse as a felony in all 50 states. All the contact information they need can be found on our group page President Isabel’s Animal Abuse Commission. Just click on US Congress.org.
We are making a difference in the lives of animals everywhere, so please join us! The more bark the more bite!
Great effort President Isabel and the rest of you Dogsters making a difference! And I LOVE your new tagline — the more bark, the more bite. Sounds like a button or magnetic bumper sticker to me. (Hmmmm, that’s a hint for things to come in the blog.)
