The Association of Pet Dog Trainers (AKA the APDT) is a great place to start. Google it, then do a trainer search there and make that your starting point. From there, carefully screen the trainers. Ask what methods they use, what their background is, what equipment they use,ask for references, ask to sit in on a class, ask what they charge, and so on.
