What’s the most beautiful breed of dog? That’s easy, it’s Malamutes! Malamutes are named after the “Mahlemut” tribe of Inuit in Alaska. They were bred to help with hunting and working and together they helped each other survive the harsh arctic climate. Recent DNA analysis shows that they are one of 14 acient dog breeds–a small group of geographically diverse dog breeds that have the fewest genetic differences from wolves. Let’s celebrate the end of winter by having these puppies mush us into spring!
