Do you wanna see Adam? Our friend Adam was on his way over, and I knew this. So being the onry mom I am, I decide to get her all exctied first. See, Annie believes that Adam is her boyfriend (yes, he's human-and engaged), but she LOVES him. So I say his name once, and her ears perk up as if to say "What?" Then, I say his name again and she looks at the door trying to figure out if he's here or not. Then I say it a third time, and she looks at me like "I don't see him yet!" Then the fourth time is her breaking point. She just goes nuts because now she's too excited and really wants to see him now!
