In fact, the improved functionality is just the first of many changes you'll see in the coming weeks.

UPDATE: **PAWS UP! Community Move to New Platform Postponed**

The move to the new platform is still happening, but we have a little more time, and A LOT more work to do, before we must get off of the old platform. We should have an idea of the new date by the end-of day Friday. Thanks for your patience everyone!

Hi Dogsters,

In February, we revealed that fabulous changes were coming to the Dogster Comunity in Spring 2015!

Late last week, we learned that the move to the new platform will happen a few weeks earlier than we had anticipated — the design elements are still in development, and the navigational areas of the site are still being fine-tuned.

After the launch to the new platform, scheduled for late next week, you will be able to navigate through the site with some familiarity, but if you get lost, don’t panic, as we will continue to roll out refinements over the next few weeks.

For those of you who use CSS, HTML, or JavaScript to customize the appearance of your Pet Pages and Group homepages, please be aware that the code you currently have in your Fun Stuff Bio Fields will not be valid on the new platform. This means your Pet Pages and Groups will no longer feature decorations. Pet Page styling will be available on the new platform; however, it will be done differently. We have solicited help from the wonderful folks at Pawsome Pages, and they will be available, after the launch, to help everyone (including us) learn the new process for styling.

We’re all very excited to finally have the Community areas of Dogster back up and running again — it’s been long overdue. Thank you all for your continued support!

We will be back with another Community Site Update next week, before the launch. In the meantime, please join us in the All Paws Bulletin Group for updates and information from your friends at HQ.

Much woof,

Lori and John D., Your Community Team
