If you’re in Philadelphia tomorrow morning, you can help stand up for animal protection by standing outside of Edna’s alleged kidnapper and murderer’s court hearing. Thanks to Bill Whiting for barking this in:
If you, or anyone you know is available this coming Monday, March 10th at 8:30, we need to make a presence of animal rights people at Family Court, 1801 Vine Street.
Victor Rodriguez’s trial begins at that time. There is a very good change this monster will get probation, and be back out on the street celebrating and wreaking havoc within hours of the verdict. A strong public presence may help prevent that. Please pass this along. I need people now more than ever.
a.. Posters will be available to peaceful demonstrators.
b.. Media kits will be made available to the press.
And more information from Bill:
Victor Rodriguez will face an adjudicatory hearing this coming Monday to face the ‘Edna terror/phone-threat’ court case March 10th at 8:30AM in Family Court> > 1801 Vine Street,
Courtroom ‘C’ Philadelphia, PA. It will be an adjudicatory hearing, and there is a good chance a verdict will be handed down that same day. I don’t know the judge or his name, only that he’s a ‘move it along’ kinda guy. All that said, because this is another insidious telephone crime, the REAL crime of animal cruelty is largely un-provable, even though few in the court system doubt its reality.
Anyone compelled to urge change on that score feel free to contact William B. Petersen, President, Verizon – Philadelphia
1717 Arch Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103
Only reporters will be allowed inside the courtroom, but supporters are welcome to participate in a peaceful presence outside 1801 Vine Street, where protest signs will be made available.
This should be the end of it…Bill
