Every time a dog is lost their humans get worried. But imagine if you were truck dirver John Withers and you're beloved Chow Mix Charles Nugget had gone missing over 1000 miles away from home. That's exactly what happened.

Withers, who lives in Georgia, lost Charles Nugget while making a delivery in the Green Bay, Wisconsin area. They had stopped at a rest stop and Withers let Charles Nugget out for a potty break of his own. The dog was not leashed and ran away. Withers and Charles Nuggest had been together about a year at that time. WIthers was crushed and went to great lengths to let people in the area know about his missing friend.

People in the area saw Charles Nugget but it was eight months before they could definitely tell Withers where to find the dog. Diring that time the good people nearby ahd been leaving food out for the Chow Mix.

When WIthers got the word that Charles Nugget had been spotted he brought his other dog, Moose Edward with him. Betweent the two of them they were able to convince Charles Nugget to return to the life of a truck-traveling dog.
