Tennessee Dogster Needs Advice

I normally don’t pull comments off the “woofs” and put them on the main blog but this one stood out. Are there any dogsters in Tennessee who can give this concerned dogster information or advice? Please bark in if you can help or know someone who can help him and the dogs he is concerned for in Cleveland, TN.

There are dogs that look awful in Cleveland Tennessee. I don’t think they have ever been to the vet. The puppy has a place under his neck hanging skin or whatever it is. Maybe he got hurt trying to get away from where he is tied and the rope cut into his neck or the collar.

The dogs scratch like they are eat up with fleas and tics.

Their neighbor has reported them, some of the people in the trailer park behind has called in on them to animal control and I think the Sheriffs Dept.

No one seems to do anything. One person said the animal control person said it would be a big fine if one of the dogs died. Heeeeeello!!!! What about prevention????

We do not have any abuse agencies whatsoever in Cleveland Tennessee.

What should someone do?

I am glad you are atleast trying to get Bredesen to do something. He has been the worse govenor Tennessee has ever had. He cares very little about people so I doubt he will care about animals.

My pets are my babies and are treated as such. I may get to the vet somewhat late on shots, but if they were sick or hurt they would be there yesterday!!!!!

Is there any advice you can give me? Do you know of any organization that is maybe in a neighboring town that might be able to help the dogs at 31XX Somerset Lane in Cleveland TN.??

These people have children too. I doubt they take much better care of them.

Thanks,
Aaron
