Dog Busts Robbers

There are times to include your dog in family outings and then there are other times. I think burglaries are probably NOT the best time to include your four-legged family member in the event. This is from India’s NewKerala.com.

Manali: Taking their pet dog along to allegedly commit a theft proved costly for a father and son as it got left behind and led the police to them.

Jangu and his son Bhima, residents of the ‘Migrants Basti’ went to Suili Khud area last night and broke open the shutter of a shop and decamped with goods. They closed the shutter and returned home but their accompanying dog got locked inside.

When shopkeeper Chander Mohan reached the shop and saw the lock broken, he immediately informed the police. When the police opened the shutter, the dog jumped out and ran towards the ‘basti’ like a bullet.

The police followed the dog in plain clothes and reached the place and asked Jangu about the owner of the dog. When told the dog belonged to him, police arrested both father and son and recovered the stolen goods.

My question is why didn’t anybody miss the family dog when they got home from the robbery?
