Dogsters, you never cease to amaze us. Your answers to our request to tell us what you’re grateful for left nary a dry eye in the house. Some of you have been through so much. Yet you shine with a good spirit, and you made it seem effortless to list what you have to give thanks for. We are so inspired by you. We feel like we got to know you better, too.
We really wish we could give everyone a prize. (The folks at NOse Offense said the same.) I’m glad I don’t have to judge which is most deserving, because it would be impossible. The winners of the prizes for Dogster’s Pre-Black-Friday Blowout Giveaway were drawn randomly, using Random.org. And here are the winners:
The John Bartlett print bed and matching throw goes to Catrina.
The “pawtographed” copy of the seventh edition of my book, The Dog Lover’s Companion to California, will be heading to Joy. I drew her name randomly from those who wrote they live in California, and as luck would have it, its already on her wish list. Ho ho ho Joy, I hope you and your dog get a great deal of use from it!
We have two winners of the “combo packs” (8-ounce spray bottle and a 32-ounce refill) of NOse Offense fragrance-free odor eliminator for pets: Sarah Skilling and Donna (the Donna who has Snookums, Tiger, Daisy and Jake). Hope your homes smell great for the holidays
We also have two winners of the book, Animals Behaving Badly: Ashley and Dawn (the Dawn whose husband was diagnosed early).
Congratulations to all of you. If you didn’t win, it’s not because your stories were not completely worthy. It’s just how these randomly drawn giveaways work sometimes. Stay tuned, though. We’ll have another giveaway, of the new Rin Tin Tin book, later this week.
