Thanks to Eddie Essig, Master Snoop, for barking in about some rescued Beagles.

Hi Joy,

I heard a story on the local news last night that a puppy mill in Somerset County here in Pennsylvania was raided yesterday and they seized 17 dogs, including 11 puppies. The story was aired on thepittsburghchannel.com. They stated on the newscast that the seized pups were taken to The Humane Society of Somerset County and should be available for adoption by this weekend.

My sister Emmy was adopted from this shelter, and Mom was totally amazed at what a wonderful shelter it is. The people there are very caring and the animals are taken care of fabulously. So if anyone can help them out, please do. I know this situation is going to cause overcrowding conditions for them as they are a smaller facility. Oh, and did I mention the seized pups are beagles? ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks,
Eddie!

Here is the news Eddie mentioned.
