Thanks to for this good news!

Stolen dogs returned to family

An Upper Hutt father and son have been reunited with both their beloved chihuahuas after they were stolen 10 days ago.

After finding Honey on Saturday, police discovered David wandering the streets on Christmas eve and returned him to a very relieved Shaun and Bruce McDermott.

Although both had lost weight, the two dogs are happy to be home - even getting scorched almonds as a special Christmas treat to celebrate their return.

The two dogs were stolen out of the McDermott's truck while their owners were buying takeaways.
