Introducing The Together Tag

I am very proud to announce a new product from Dogster, it's a pet ID and recovery service called Together Tag. This product not only stands alone, it also nicely complements the use of a microchip.

Here at Dogster, we've heard many tragic tales over the last five years about people being separated from their pets. Whether it's a story about a dog simply running through the side gate and not coming back, or a family unable to find their dog after Hurricane Katrina, the disheartening truth is the same: there's nothing worse than losing your best friend.

Inspired by these sad accounts and the strength of our pet-loving community, we have decided to take matters into our own hands. Leveraging our pet expertise, technical know-how, social networking capabilities and vast community resources, we've created the ultimate service for keeping pets and their families together. Working in partnership with the American Red Cross, Dogster is pleased to announce the launch of Together Tag, the most comprehensive pet ID and recovery service.

Enrollment is fast and easy and you can activate your account immediately. The Together Tag offers a better range of features than the traditional tags on the market. For a one-time fee, we offer the ability to keep all profile and contact information (primary, secondary and out-of-area) up-to-date and accessible 24/7, free of charge.

We also have an alert system that will notify local shelters and participating community members (both through Together Tag and an opt-in feature on the mail preferences of Dogster and Catster members) in the event that a participating pet is reported lost.

Lisa and I just put in our order for four Together Tags, it was super easy to do. We invite you to visit our new website at www.togethertag.com, where you'll find everything you need to know about how our service works and how you can protect your pets.

The best part, besides helping keep your pet safe, is $5 of every enrollment purchased is donated to the pet safety program at the American Red Cross.

We hope that you find this service valuable and would love to hear your feedback.
