Holly is a beautiful Doxie who has until 5pm on Tuesday to find a home or she will be put down. It’s so sad that this innocent girl will never have a chance to live because no one came to claim her.

TUESDAY AT 5PM HOLLY WILL BE PUT DOWN

DEAR FRIENDS,

THIS SWEET LITTLE GIRL WAS FOUND BY COLLETON COUNTY ANIMAL CONTROL LAST WEDNESDAY, SHE HAD BEEN HIT BY A TRUCK. SHE WAS TAKEN TO A LOCAL VET, XRAYS WERE DONE AND SHE HAS A FRACTURED HIP AND IT APPEARS HER BLADDER HAS BEEN PUSHED BACK. SHELTER IS LIMITING HER MOVEMENT AND SHE HAS BEEN ABLE TO URINATE SOME BUT THEY DON’T HAVE THE FUNDS FOR SURGERY. SHE HAS BEEN ON PAIN PILLS AND DOESN’T DESERVE TO DIE. SHE’S ONLY AROUND 2 OR 3-YEARS-OLD.

DENNIS SOULE, SHELTER WORKER, HAS CANVASSED THE NEIGHBORHOOD LOOKING FOR HER OWNER AND SHE HAS BEEN SCANNED FOR A MICROCHIP. THEY EVEN TRIED TO TRACE THE OWNER BY THE TRAINING COLLAR SHE HAD ON…NO LUCK.

I’VE WORKED WITH THIS SHELTER FOR OVER 7 YEARS AND MANY, MANY POSITIVE CHANGES HAVE BEEN MADE WITH NEW DIRECTOR AND ACTIVELY MARKETING THEIR ANIMALS ON PETFINDER; BUT THEY STAY FULL AND HAVE NO RESOURCES.

PLEASE CONTACT BY PHONE ONLY: HE HAS NO EMAIL

It’s time to get out the fork and take another bite out of the elephant, saving one homeless dog at a time. Let’s help Holly find a forever home and watch the big pachyderm get a little bit smaller.
