Are you looking for a way to help homeless dogs find homes? how about becoming part of the Dogster Railroad? What is it I hear you asking. Well, just like the Underground Railroad in slave-era America moved humans escaping death, the Dogster Railroad moves dogs needing homes from the places they can’t stay to people and shelters who can help them find homes.

Here’s what it says on the Forum page:

Woof! This is a special place for Dogsters to help Dogsters arrange for community transport of rescues or dogs being rehomed.

How can you help? The Dogster Railroad needs human Dogsters to be links from one location to the next. If you can take a few hours and drive needy dogs then you can make a difference in whether or not these dogs live or die.

For example, there’s an emergency case on the Dogster Railroad Forum right now of a litter of Dogster girls who need to get from Hutchinson, Kansas to Columbus, Ohio immediately or they will be put to sleep. If you can handle just one 70 mile leg of the trip, you could be the person who makes this happen for them.

Okay, I know its the holidays and everybody is busy. But if you can carve out just a few hours to help, you can face Christmas and every other holiday knowing that you made a holiday miracle happen for six deserving little Dogsters who really need the help.

Here is the most recent transport info on these girls.
