Dogster member Benji passed on December 26, 2008 at the age of eight, from a fatal illness. He was a wonderful boy who spent over six years working as a therapy dog with both children and adults.

On February 14th his folks are walking for a no kill shelter as a tribute to Benji. They are hoping to raise funds in his memory for the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League. The Humane Society of the Palm Beaches is the largest nonprofit, open access animal shelter for dogs and cats in all of Palm Beach County.

If you live in that area and would like to join in it isn't too late.

We're looking for 2,000+ adventuresome dogs and their people to make our Walk a success! Walk with your dog, borrow a neighbor's dog or walk with a friend! You can even walk in honor of your favorite pet. The Walk promises to be a tail-waggin' good time! There will be plenty of activities:
