IOL out of South Africa reports that at least one man takes togetherness to new heights. I rarely cover dog bite stories but this one, well read it for yourself...

Beijing - A Beijing man was awarded almost $1,000 in compensation on Friday after he was bitten by a dog and then by the dog's owner, state media said.

The victim, named only as Huo, was bitten on the left leg by the dog and then became embroiled in an argument with the dog's owner, the official Xinhua news agency said.

During the fight that followed, the dog's owner bit Huo's left cheek, leaving a two-centimetre gash, a municipal court in Beijing heard.

The court ordered the attacker to pay 7 500 yuan in compensation for the November 2004 incident. - Sapa-AFP
