Artist Joy Beckner Loses Model and Friend
Thanks to Francis Rocks and the bipedess for passing on this sad news.
I know all you the Rainbow Dogsters will be looking for Lizzie. My sympathies to Lizzie's family.

Not that long ago Joy highlighted an amazingly talented artist on the Dogster blog whom I am lucky enough to know from meeting at Dachshund national events. Joy Beckner is a wonderfully talented sculptor and human being.
I have just learned that she lost her model, companion, family member Lizzie at age 16 years 10.5 months.Please join me and the bipedess in lighting a candle in memory of lovely Lizzie. We were honored to meet her in person at the Dachshund National in Riverside in 2004.
