When you think of Andy Warhol, you usually think of him creating some art on the floor while wearing a blank expression or enjoying some nightlife with Grace Jones while wearing a blank expression, but not playing with dogs while wearing a blank expression.

But Andy was a dog lover! So we found out thanks to a new auction going on right now: Andy Warhol @ Christie’s: Best in Show, a show of “animal-inspired works by the master of Pop Art.” In the photo series, we see a lot of dogs, along with some monkeys and eagles and cows. But mostly dogs. Also some horses because rich people are on them. The dogs, though, are where it’s at.

The auction company also tells us that Warhol was a proud owner of two Dachshunds, Archie and Amos. If you’d like to buy any of these pictures, the online-only auction runs through Tuesday, May 5, at Christie’s. Most of the starting bids are currently around $5,000 or less, which sound like a bargain for the right buyer. You can be the first at the dog park with an original Warhol Dog.
