Rescued Dogs Put Down

What the dickens is going on with the police and police-like types this week? Here’s a case where a man has been trying to help stray dogs , he realizes he’s not doing a good job, he calls the authorities for some help and the only help they can think to give is to KILL THE DOGS!

I’d think twice if I lived in Caddo, Oklahoma before I called the police for ANYTHING! Broken leg or trouble with a neighbor? They just might shoot you as the fastest way to take care of the problem.

This horrific story comes to us from KTEN.com.

A Dozen Dogs Killed in Caddo

Several residents in Caddo, Oklahoma, say they’re upset about the way the police department handled the removal of 12 dogs from a resident’s home Tuesday night. KTEN’s Jocelyn Lockwood broke the news on KTEN News at 5 Wednesday.

The animals lived at a home between South Choctaw Street and South Henderson Street in Caddo.

The animals owner asked the Caddo Police Department to take care of the dogs, because he was in violation of a city ordinance and couldn’t care for them anymore.

Neighbors say the police department then shot the 12 dogs, injected them with something, then put them in trash bags.

The owner says he was under the impression the dogs would go to another good home.

The dogs’ owner Mike Farmer told KTEN News, “I thought they were getting a home, I mean, I need to get rid of the dogs, I did. I had like ten or twelve back there and I pick most of them up at the road, dirt roads where somebody else done throwed them out. Just ’cause I felt sorry for them. They shouldn’t have shot em, them dogs didn’t deserve that.”
