The 5th Annual World’s Coolest Dog & Cat Show is an online photo contest. You must be a member of Dogster or Catster and be 13 years of age or older to enter or vote. Remember, no pedigree is required—any pet can enter regardless of age, breed or disposition.

Timeframes

Entries will be accepted October 14 to November 18, 2009. Voting begins October 14 and ends November 18, 2009, when the five photos with the highest valid votes in each category will be chosen. Our judges will then decide the category winners, and finally, you the people will choose who becomes Best in Show by voting from November 18 to December 16, with the winners announced December 16.

To be eligible to win, a prize entrant must be a legal U.S. resident. If a winner is not a legal resident, then no prize of monetary value can be awarded, but you still can win both a category and Best in Show honors.

Limitations

No individual pet may be a finalist in more than five categories. No individual pet may be a winner in more than three categories. No single Dogster member can have more than 10 finalists and five winners amongst his or her pets.

No photos that have won or been named as finalists in previous years, either as Best in Show or in an individual category, are eligible to win again this year.

Each entrant must be a registered Dogster.com or Catster.com member and be 13 years of age or older as of October 14, 2009. To be eligible to win a prize, the entrant must be a legal US resident. If a winner is not a legal resident, then no prize of monetary value will be awarded. If a winner is a minor, then a parent or legal guardian must accept the prize on the minor's behalf. No purchase is necessary, and a purchase will not increase your chance of winning. Void where prohibited. Please see the official rules.
