Yes! Whether at the foot of the bed, above my head, to the side, and/or in between me and the hubby, all 3 pugs sleep with us! I love it--I love them; their cute puggy snorts and snores AND just to be that close after being at work all day long--it makes me somewhat feel I am making up for that day's lost time and playing catch up. And when the hubby is gone, Fatsolio and Sox Magoo join in and situate their standardized process: Three pugs to the left (top, middle, bottom) and Fatsolio and Sox Magoo to the right. I am a one happy warm, snuggly sandwich--sigh, I would love to be doing that right now! That is my happy place :)

My yorkie has had some territorial issues and overall terrier issues of thinking he is the king of everything. So we really don't allow him on the bed most of the time. Now we have a little chihuahua too that is not yet 100% potty trained and we will probably follow the same rule when she is fully trained just to be fair to Paddy. Mika (the chi) can jump on my bed which happens to be 24 inches off the ground!! She's nuts. Which brings me to my other reason for not wanting them in bed b/c I am so afraid I will either crush them or send them flying off the bed and break their little skulls, that I think its just better that they stay in their beds or crates (they can choose) right beside the bed. Every once in a while we bend the rule and have a snuggle night but I think Paddy prefers the floor. He HATES snuggling and tries to get as far away from me and my husband as possible. He will also nip feet if I move at night.

my wolf hybrid and GSD sleep with me most nights. The wolf at the end of the bed and the GSD next to me. Always on top of the comforter because with their coats they get warm and jump off waking me. Only a few time the wolf's brother slept with us too. He's 100lbs of mal/wolf and he fidgets. He's not really allowed to sleep with us because he's too noisey. My husky has never come on the bed she prefers to sleep outside the room in the hall. Both the wolf and GSD must touch me somehow too. I am always warm!

I allow the boys on the bed while I'm sitting there reading or on the laptop before lights-out. Sometimes it's long enough so that they fall asleep, but I always shift them to their crates because I don't want to risk them getting into midnight mischief after I'm asleep.

I have 4 dogs in the house. Max (10 pound 11 yr old chihuahua)used to sleep with me until Tia (8 yr old 3 pound chihuahua) came along and she is the boss. She likes to sleep under the covers in the back of my knees. Then there is Kyra (2 1/2 yr old 70 pound lab/ridgeback mix) who sleeps on top of the covers next to my side or at my back depending on her mood. She is good about getting up to let me out of bed when I say "move". We also have a new addition to our bunch and her name is Ellie (7 month old 60 pounds so far German Shepard/doberman mix) who is crate trained and sleeps in her crate at night but likes to sleep in the big chair next to my bed. She was taught from the beginning that she would not be allowed on the bed because first she is my 16 yr old sons dog and second because I am out of bed space:)

I start at the head of the bed. It takes about 5 minutes of nesting with Daddy's pillow and blankies for me to settle down. I sleep there for a few hours. When Daddy comes to bed I move to the end of the bed at curl up there. About 4-5 o'clock in the morning Spitz comes to bed and then I sandwich myself between Mommy & Daddy with Spitz.

Usually they have their own beds right next to our bed and sometimes they all sleep in one bed but other nights they each pick their own bed. Some nights they change things up all night, we have 5 beds in that room alone and only three dogs :D They will sleep as long as we do. My little boy will sometimes stay in bed until the last second that I put his breakfast plate down but the girls wake up, go potty and hang out while I fix breakfast. I have three lazy bones who play hard and sleep harder.

AFTER I settle down from the excitement of even being in the bedroom, I prefer to dive under the covers and snuggle up against Mama's legs, OR if she's not there, I snuggle under Daddy's arm against his chest; that is unless either of 'em puts out too much heat, in which case I jump down to my supersize nest, or retreat to my crate unless one of 'em has "departed" the bed, in which case I just move over to the "other" side.

Three (and sometimes four) dogs share the bed with my husband and me. One can always be found curled at my butt! The other will get between my husband and me and sleep on her back - rear pointed towards our heads. The sometimes dog will pick a quiet out-of-the-way spot so she does not bother either of us or the other dogs and stays put all night.
