Cuddles up and spoons with me in bed :) When I wake up, he's always sharing the pillow with me (I get the front half, he takes the back half).
Katie, my Dobe, will come running fast as she can if I sneeze, jumping up and sniffing my face to make sure I'm okay. If I sneeze more than once, she will put her nose on my nose, and just look at me with a worried look. It's so cute!

My husband train Precious to kiss him and me good night before going to sleep. I never had a dog that would do that.My other 2 dogs don't do that.
My Buddy, Usually he listens, reluctantly. And doesn't look at me.
If we've had a real doog day he'll sit next to me, put his paw on my lap and just stare into my eyes for a long time.

When my little Nicki curls up in my lap or cuddles with me, I feel very special indeed that Miss Independent has chosen to be affectionate with me. If she goes so far as to lower her ears and look heartbreakingly sweet as she asks to settle into my lap, I just melt.
She cuddles up in bed with me, especially when I am sick, she won't leave my side in bed.

Rupert isn't overly showy with his affection, so when he lays his ahead across my chest at night occassionally, I know he is telling me how much he loves me.

Jumps on my lap and snuggles with me. Love the greeting at the door but that only lasts a couple minutes. Snuggles last for hours and hours.
My Baron climbs in bed with me for some snuggle time and smoochies. He rests his big ol head right on my chest! It's so funny b/c he never used to be this affectionate but now that he's settled in to middle age.... he gotten SO cute!!
Our dogs love to cuddle on the couch! All three are present at once. It is the greatest feeling ever to be part of the pack.

When I sit down anywhere Titan puts his head in my lap and kind of rubs his face on me while wagging his tail slow and wide (friendly wag). He will also get in my lap and go to sleep there.
Kinsey waits at the door, then she won't leave me alone until I pick her up and she gives 'hug hugs' by leaning her head into my neck. If I am sitting on the couch she comes up and paws at my feet to 'ask' to play. She also gives me those puppy eyes!!
When I get home Indy will wait for me to kneel then he puts his legs up on my shoulders and gives me the biggest hug! He will just stay there until I make him get down.
My both dogs sleep with me, and my greyhound is a real bed hog, as she *must* always be touching me. She's an awesome cuddler. :)
Shandi likes to follow behind you licking the back of your legs or she pushes her head into your chest when she asks for cuddles. It's the sweetest thing ever!
Dukes very compassionate. I get chronic migraines, so when one hits, he's right there. He cuddles with me, not laving my side until I'm feeling better. He 'kisses' me on my arms and/or hands most that time too. He's so sweet! He always knows when one of us is sick/hurt and is always right there!

Dixie does her "happy dance"--twirling, jumping, twisting mid-air--whenever she sees me. She shows me how excited she is with every fiber of her being. I am so very blessed and thankful that she waited for me to adopt her.

I'm always barefoot in the house and my dog gives my foot a lick to show her appreciation several times during the day. If I fill her water bowl - she'll drink, then trot over to me, lick my foot and wander off. After I feed her - same thing, she licks my foot and then looks up me as if to say, "thanks mom!"

Aiki will walk half-way up the ramp next to the bed and put just one paw on the mattress to ask if he can sleep with me.
My furbaby runs to my husband and me smiling all the way. Nose crinkles up and all her teeth showing. It has scared a few people who think she is baring her teeth at them but it is all smiles. If she greets you and is not smiling all you half to says is "smileses" and the pearly white are flashed at you.

Every night after Bailey gets fed at 5 she goes to the sliding doors of the balcony and sits there looking out waiting for me to get home from work. She knows I get home about 30 minutes after she gets fed. I love pulling up to the building and seeing her sitting there waiting for her Mommy!!!
When I'm sitting, Chives backs into me, he'll sit right up snug to my legs and lay his head on my knees. It's so sweet and cute.
Both My gurls Gracie Nee' and Deli Doo greet Me at the door no matter if I have been gone all day or 5 mins. I get tons and tons of puppy kissies. As well as both gurls sleep in bed with Me at night. I don't think anyone could feel anymore loved than I do by Me gurls The Odd Couple. Gracie Nee' is a 9lbs. Rat Terries that is 3yrs. old and Deli Doo is a 85lbs 10 month old German Rottie. But they get along great and love eachother as much as they love Me and My Hubby. We are truly Blessed to have them in Our lives.
Scout shows me he loves me by always wanting to be with me. He always has to have a part of him touching a part of me and he seems to know what i'm thinking,as I do him. The fun we have together is better than any I had when I was a kid. He loves to lick and cuddle and he's always the last face I see at night and the first I see in the morning. He won't go to bed without me because I have to lift the sheets for him! He's the other/better half of me!
since momma spends so much time here on dogster. well i decided if i am to get tummy rubs i was going to have to lay in her arms.
and that is what i do. i get picked up to moma lap then i roll over to my back and she holds me like a baby for hrs. rubbing my belly while i sleep.many who have instant messaging /webcam etc have watched me sleep in moms arms .they are amazed at how loving and trusting i am .

My sister Rosie and I show love by jumping onto momma and daddy's bed in the middle of the night and squirming our way under the covers so we can sleep curled up by their feet, or wedged in between them.

Sassy always greets me when I come home. She sits on the back porch with her head tilted up in the air quivering and smiling and when I put my arms out she comes wiggling to me as fast as she can. She follows me around the house and will NOT go to bed until I go to bed to. Even if my husband is already in bed and she adores him. As soon as I lay back she plunges to my pillow to beat me to it then jumps on my chest for butt scratches and tummy rubs. We share my pillow until she gets to hot and licks me until I am slimed. But to me this is all great stuff for I love her more than life itself.

She does all of these things! Accept the first, she always goes everywhere with me, so she can't exactly greet me at the door. But she always gives me kisses, she snuggles with me at night, and she always has to know where im at. I wouldn't trade her for anything!!!!

Jet does all of those things, but what I like most is that when he's scared, he runs and hides behind/under me. That shows me that he trusts me enough to protect him. :D

I like to greet my Mommy with a full body wag and a "smarl". It's a Big Ol Dalmatian smile!!!! Mommy says it never get's old and when I do it she runs up to me and hugs me tights andkisses my snout.
When I am ignored by the humans, I go straight upstairs to dad & mom's bed. I lay on DAD's side next to the window. I look out until i fall asleep. Dad & mom leave the blind up just abit so I can look out.

My dog Buck sits next to me on the porch n lets me pet him. He's still in the teething stage and he won't bite or chew on my hands or anything. He follows me alot too. :)

I usually tell them how much I like them by barking, making weird yowling type noises. I'm very vocal! lol. For some reason they sometimes don't like that :( lol.
Minna does all the items listed PLUS she sits in my lap, puts her paws on my shoulders (like a hug) kisses me then presses her cheek next to mine! I love it~especially with a freshly shaved Poodle face! Someone once told me she is a "love bucket" that is overflowing!
Remi does all the items listed PLUS just sitting REALLY close with his whole body weight and then buries his face in my lap~as if he could get under my skin! It's as though he can't get close enough!

Checkers sleeps under the covers with me and sleeps with his head on my leg. If he gets out and wants back in, he lifts up the blanket with his muzzle. It's really cute.
From the time I open my eyes in the morning, until I fall asleep at night, he lets me know I am his very best friend. He watches over the entire household to see that we are safe and secure. He is the love of our lives!!!
I was home with a back and neck injury for two years. I do not think I would be working full time hours today if it wasn't for my amazing pups. The four of them comforted me, gave me purpose, licked me when I was in pain, kept vigil, piled on and next to me when I was freezing and could not get warm, and my oldest lab, Houser, even learned how to help his Mommy off the couch and up stairs! They did all of this on their own without being asked or advised! They were the best pain medication, anti-depressants, and physical therapy. I owe them my quality of life and am doing everything I can to make theirs the best it can be. For all of us who know the power of the paw, you will enjoy the story of Lava in "From Baghdad With Love". I just read it and loved it. I also read "Dog Years", but forget the author. I suggest them both. I loved Marley and Me, until the author felt too guilty spending his money on his dog instead of his kids, so he put Marley down. EEEEEEKKKKKK. The boycott started at that point!
Not only do I meet mommy at the door,and give her kisses all over hands, arms legs face and sometimes feet, and follow her around the house as well as give those puppy dog looks I will offer my paw for her to hold when she is not feeling good and bring her my toys to play with. I even bring prezzies in from outside like sticks and leaves. When there is a bad thunder storms I will lay on top of her or as close as I can to her to calm her down. Adam Chewbacca

Maggie cuddles up to my husband and I in bed first thing in the morning.
Kiko will put her front paws on my chair and stand up on her hind legs. Then she bends her head and pushes into my chest while I gently blow little short puffs of air onto her head and ears. She'll look up at me, shake her head, lower her head and push into my chest again. Then she looks up and gently gives me a quick lick on the face. We do this at least once a day, for a couple of minutes. I always feel like she is telling me how much she loves me when she does this!! Plus she does the following me around the house, or outside in the yard--she has to be with me!!
Cory sleeps with my husband and me in the big bed, he cuddles next to me and stays there all night with his little head on the pillow next to mine. Sometimes he wakes up and give me a lick on my face and then goes back to sleep.

Baron likes to do all of the above in somewhat similar order -- greets us at the door with tale wagging intensely, licks the face/ears for kisses, puppy dog eyes and follows us around the house. However he likes to bury and hide his cute little face in endearing ways......placing his face on the palm of our hand/belly area/or any other limb to feel our touch and smell our sent!!

Oscar ALWAYS knows when I'm upset or down & he becomes a little snuggle bug to cheer me up. If I'm sick he's right there by my side.

my boy is stuck to me like glue! after surgery he never left me for more than the bare essentials! and he did those very quickly! when my husband came to administer the medications he growled at him! it took him a little while to realize my husband was helping and he didn't need to protect me from him! besides since i couldn't get up who did he think was going to take care of ALL OF US? BOL!!!!
Brie's my Service Dog - so anxious to work for me and please me. Those eyes of hers go straight to my soul. But whatever is going on in our life or wherever we may be during the day, Brie is always BY MY SIDE. I feel her love and devotion each step of the way.
Brie is my faithful Service Dog; constantly willing and anxious to work for me, please me and make my life so much more independent. When she looks at me her eyes reach deep into my heart and soul. But whatever we're doing or whever we are, Brie is always right BY MY SIDE.
Angel is my most endearing baby of them all. She will get some toy, bone, or what ever seems to suite her fancy at that moment and swagger up to me, with her entire lower half of her body swinging from side to side and gurgle or growl or talk or what ever that sound is called to show me her latest find. she does to everyone all the time. she has the funniest little way of getting all the attention. most think she is growling at them but i have tell them she is showing off her latest toy and letting them know that is her's and they can not have it or she will bring them a toy to throw for her, and the whole time she is making these incrediable sounds.
My dog will get on my lap and put her head up to me like she is hugging me and she keeps doing this over and over. I love this dog more then any other dog that I have had she is the best
My dog greets everyone who walks into our home by rolling over on his back at their feet and waiting to have his stomach scratched.
My mummy will say, "Maddie, give me a hug!" and I run over, she kneels, and I put my front paws around her and rest my head on her shoulder! It makes us both feel good!
When my mom gets home I have to give her a kiss, and won't quit pestering her until she kneels down so I can. Also I like to give her a little howl "hello".
I like to give hugs by smearing my forehead against you. If you're a guy and you're standing up by me, I'll rub my big, soft head on the outside of your leg to show you I care. If you're a woman I love and you sit on the floor with me, there's a good chance I'll do the same thing, but this time I'm going for the boobies.
I like to treated like a little baby. My mom holds me like a baby and she kisses me on the cheek really fast a bunch of times . If she stops I put my paw on her face to keep going. In the morning I want to be kissed for an hour. I love to be adored. I am the baby ya know!
Princess greets me with jumping up and down as high as she can go and twirling around in circles and barking at the same time. Then she will quickly stop and sit with tail wagging and ears pinned back and eyes all aglow with shear joy until I pet her and say "Hello Princess". I can't think of a better 'welcome' then that!

we know just what to do to make them fold!...we kisses them, puts our nosies under their arm for pets and huggies...and we instinctively KNOW when they're not feeling well...are unhappy or happy...and love them unconditionally...much better than HUMANS!!

My girls are velcro pups where i go they go ,I could go in and out the same door 20 times and they have to follow me in and out every time . They love to hug and kiss me and the rest of the family all the time .
She snuggles up to me and gives me and my husband a goodnight kiss before she settles down to sleep, she sees us do the same and has started copying us which is sweet.

Jack & the little brat and sometimes sweet Jillie are my 2 Shih-Tzu dogs. Jack is a little over a year old. Jillie is 3 months old. Jack is black and white, Jillie is brindle. Jack is an angel (most of the time), but Jillie is not-so-good. She's good when she is sleepy, that's it. Jack's nicknames are bubbers, bubber boy, jackipoo, pudge,and my favorite, pudgerainbow! I love my dogs very much, and I try to kiss Jillie, but she's just too small.
My Bichon Frise, Sparky, gives me puppy kisses and sleeps on my lap whenever I sit down. He is almost 7, and he still acts like a little puppy.
While laying next to me on my chair or in my bed, she will all of a sudden roll over and expose her tummy to be rubbed!! If I stop, she rolls closer to me and paws me with her feet! I love her very much.
I ALWAYS want to be petted, bu tsometimes, my favorite owner walks awya and is about to go into the house. I try sitting down and wag my tail, then slowly stop it, sometimes, I even lie donw or roll over on my sides!
How do you know I'm about to arrive home?
First, Ellie will jump 5 meters in the air and land with a thud. When she stands up again, she will look wierd. Her eyes are half closed, crazy, like she's trippin', and she sticks her tongue out, runs around in circles, making wierd noises. And when I open the door, it's like a bomb exploding. Ellie screams and jumps to my arms, knocks me down and licks my face as fast as she can, bites my ears and nose, and shakes herself vigorously. This lasts about half-an-hour!
