My pup, Stella, was spayed when she was 1. After spending the weekend with my dad's neighbor's fixed male, she has started humping other males! And when the other dog gets her off of him, she continues to hump air....
My Cairn Terrier humps her pooh bear stuffed animal after she finished her dinner every night!
My Golden pup Happy started humping one specific toy of hers when she was 8 1/2 weeks old and she hasn't stopped doing it since (she is now 10 months old). We often take this toy away from her for a couple of days or weeks even, and then she won't hump anything... right until she gets the toy back. Btw this toy is a miniature Golden retriever :-)
PS a stuffed miniature Golden retriever of course, not a live one ;-)
Buddy has a giant stuffed bear named Mr. Humpy for a reason. BOL
I think Theres a pic of Mr. Humpy and Buddy on his page. :)
my baby humps pillows stuffed animals n humans! haha
my Brussels Griffon Ava humps the cat!!
I, personally, find this survey appaling.
Dog humping isn't funny nor appropriate for a website that has specific guidelines that tell you to not post anything that isn't family friendly.
This surely isn't family friendly, if you ask me!
HQ, I am appaled!
Isn't this a rather pawsonal subject matter? Pawsonally, it's the humans that I worry about, at least I am neutered.
Mom is horrified to report that I hump pillows BUT ONLY the ones on her bed!
I rarely hump anything. In fact, momma has only seen me do it once since she got me back in October.
Mommy says that she supports my lifestyle, because I only hump boy dogs. And I generally go for the front rather than the back! The taller the boy, the better.
I will hump things that daddy leaves in the backseat. So far, that includes his metal briefcase and a rice cooker still in the box!
I used to hump legs when I was a young puppy, but I don't hump anything anymore. Maybe it's because I was neutered at 6 months old.
I have regular marital relations with my bed.
I am a girl.
Once in a great while when mommy comes to bed I jump in the middle to get to her pillow and hump the air and lick her arm. *blushes* Daddy gets mad & mommy says LEAVE HER BE!
I only hump my dad cause I love him so much
Now that Barkley is neutered (has been for 2 years now) he only humps when he wants my sister's cat to play with him. And what was hilarious is that my sister had a friend over and she saw him doing that once and she screamed "HE IS RAPEING NOODLE!" :))
Weird question...haha.
Rex humps my leg...other dogs...sometimes stuffed animals. He is so young...but seems to be really "mature".
Treader sometimes humps other dogs if they'll put up with it.
"Dog humping isn't funny nor appropriate for a website that has specific guidelines that tell you to not post anything that isn't family friendly."
Humping in dogs is very rarely anything to do with desire to breed. It's a way for a dog to release kept-in energy, relieve stress, and even part of play. Some say dominance is another reason, even the main one, but I personally don't think so.
I hump my dog bed and my toys!
My girl only has humped one person and a pillow.
I have to be frank , mom surprised me a couple of time humping one of the pillows on their bed...Blushing...
I try that with my older sis Biscotte when I came to live in my furever home. She growled and showed me her angry smile full of teeth...I don't do it anymore !
My dog only tries to hump the cat.
Rosie actually has NEVER humped anything!
By hey, I'm not complaining! :D
For the people that are complaining...Please life is too short. Have fun. I hump my bed every night...Mom and dad ask me if I need a drink when I'm done...They get a kick out of it. Mom asked my trainer if she should discourage me from doing this and the trainer said why she's just doing something that makes her feel good...Have a Wonderful Day Everypups!!!
On a rare occassion, my neutered male dogs will hump another male dog, or each other. They know it is not allowed though.
Even though my dogs, are neutered, the instinct to bred is so stong, they will hump an unspayed female dog, which they rarely have contact with.
One of my Poms, who is 4 years old, and has been neutered since he was 5 and a half months old humps his blanket in his doggy bed like clockwork at 7 or 8 each night! It's sooooo embarrasing if someone is visiting! LOL! Then he gets tired and goes to bed! LOL!
I mean he really goes to town and wears himself out!
My pup Rolly, only humps my mothers puppy usually. I am sure he would do it to more female dogs but they do not allow it ha ha!
it's a dominance thing for me. I'm trying to take control of this Pack but Mom keeps thwarting my plans. She is such a "fun police" type.
I used to do it when I was a pup, then Mom brought me to the vet. I had to wear a lamp shade for a week and I NEVER did it again BOL BOL BOL BOL !!!!!!! :-)
I only hump when I dominate
SCOOTER ONLY HUMPS THE STUFFED BUNNY RABBIT WHEN HE FINDS WHERE IVE HIDDEN IT
I am the only humper of the bunch, and only hump Milo when I get excited. If I tried to hump Cricket she would probably rip my throat out!!
Woof!
I have a throw pillow named Pearl, thank you very much.
Buddy loves to hump his bed, and Murphy tries to hump Buddy!! LOL!!!!
Well Sam hasn't gotten into that.....yet.
Dog beds are for humping not sleeping! I turn it up on its side and go to town. I also enjoy humping mommy's arm. I know most dogs prefer the leg, but arms are smaller and work better for my size.
My Cairn terrier Chipper will attempt to hump if he is allowed up on the recliner when my feet are up… I of course discourage this behavior…
I only hump my little fur brother Alex and some of teh other dogs at the dog park. Funny thing is I get in trouble for doing ti to my little brother. I can`t figure out why tho . BOL
Pillows or stuff animals, has been neutered and when he was only 9 weeks old and started humping.
BTW I am "fixed" as mommy calls it but that don`t sto-p me BOL

victor only humps when a white fluffy dog is around
im the only one out of us 3 that does not and WILL not hump! mystic does with much smaller dogs after they are all worked up from playing and apollo TRIES to hump Mystic from time to time but she gets pretty mouthy and loud. the heck of it is.... we are all fixed!
Oreo does not hump very often but once in a while he will attack this beat up cushion and go at it with so much gusto I don't even bother trying to get him away from it :)
They only hump each other!
I'm only an occasional humper, when I get overexcited while playing, thanks. :)
My 4 lb Lila Rae only humps her favorite loofa dog from petsmart. I think the reason is because she is the last "member" of my pack, so she treats loofa lou like she is the boss!!! hahaha.
Rowdy humps my head.
I don't hump but I sure do like to smell a rump
I am a fixed female and was humped for the first time by my pawrent's friend's fixed female puppy about a year ago. I had to hide in the outside bath to get away from her.
Then I started occasionally humping her back, and also another friend of Mum's fixed female.
It's a rare occurrence.
Humps the cat. The cat doesn't seem to mind it.
Bella only humps her stuffed duck that she has. It's way bigger than her, but still gets the job done! It's pretty funny because she bites the butt of the duck and holds the head of the duck down "there" with her paws! She rolls all around and finally will just lay there with the duck and sleep!
Chachi also only humped one specific toy and nothing else ever. So once at a Christmas party my brother said Chachi humps and I swore to everyone around that "my baby" would never do such a thing and that he was much too polite and proper to do the things my bro's dogs did. Well my brother comes out with "the bear" and Chachi performs his humping in front of everyone the second he gets the bear. Laughter ensues and I turn beet red but I let him continue because he was enjoying himself, lol.
My dog Bandit always hump me when I'm lying down on my back!!! That happened when I let him bite hair then he started humping me!!! He is only 12 weeks old!
my buddy humps my other boy dog marshmellow
lol. Loved this poll... Well Eater had her days. Before she was spayed, she would hump anything she saw. I'm glad she doesn't anymore!
Humping is the sign of dominance, etc.
My dog doesn't hump because (she is neutered aswell) she doesn't give a hoot! She doesn't care if I am the alpha, since I let her sleep, eat and cuddle!
My dog, Wallie, only likes to hump certain people. It is weird.
Fargus is a blanket humper. He has his "girlfriend," the quilted one with the blue butterflies on it, and he has his "dirty girl," the faux-fur leopard print blanket. (He snuggles with the blue one afterward; not so with dirty girl.) He really gets into it too, with part of the blanket between his teeth and one front paw holding the rest of it, uh "in place." Unfortunately, at 10 years old, he's prone to throwing his back out during these love fests. On the advice of his chiropractor, both of Fargus' textile gal-pals now hide in the closet.
For the record, he's neutered and has never humped any person, any of his adopted canine siblings, or his doggy play buddies. Apparently he just likes the way his blankets feel.
Ellie goes on to people's legs, but only when they are bare. And she's a spayed female! ah ah! NEVER wear a skirt or shorts near Ellie, that's an early lesson. But she is not very much into that... When we noticed she's like: "oh, you seem good to hump" we leash her and say sorry. Worst is when she sniffs your intimate parts...
My male only humps air when he wakes up. My female humps the male when he gets too close to Daddy!
