Thankful for a home and family that loves us all four of us.We had a lost in Sept. but we are thankful he did not suffer very much.Thankful for our human mom and dad that they have not had a real bad year.Mom getting laid off and going back to school it has been rough but we all have pulled together and just loved each other. It has been tough for alot of people this year and we are all thankful we have food and a home.

Well it wouldn't be right to say #1 best friend because the other animals are just as much my "fur kids" (or in the case of Daddy fur rowdy teenager haha) that Daddy is and I consider them friends as well. How about all of the above.

All of the above, of course, but also very thankful for our amazing, devoted and loving Dogster and Catster friends who helped bring our Teddi Sue back home to us when she was stolen and who have helped our family stay together during a time when we could so easily have been separated.

Thankful b/c, although we can't save them all, I have been able to save these 5 and this is another year that these 5 get to experience love, warmth and happiness. And another year farther away from the ugly situations from where they came. Not to mention how amazing they have made my life!! I have no idea who rescued who but I am thankful for it regardless!!!

Definately all of the above. According to my Mom, the sun does not rise until I decide to get up. The moon does not come out until I go to bed. The world would not turn if not for me!

I would also like to say all of the above but particularly that Anakin is healthy and alive! Especially considering the birthday and anniversary of Damien's passing coming up. :( Anyways, Anakin was real sick for a couple weeks, come to find out he had a rubber obstruction in his intestines! But all is well now, and I am extremely thankful for my furboy!!!! :) He got a new toy last night but he won't be getting any christmas presents since I just spent $1000 on him to save him lol

Barked by: Toby (In Loving Memory) (Dogster Member)

November 24th 2009 at 2:20 pm

I'm thankful for all those things and for the fact that Toby has had these two weeks since his cancer diagnosis to be loved and spoiled and spend time with us and just be Toby. He's feeling pretty good but I know in my heart that it won't last long and it will be time to let him go. So I'm grateful that Cody and Maddie will be there for me when it's time to say goodbye to Toby. I'm grateful I can be there for him when it's time to go. I feel sorry for the two families or individuals that brought him back to the shelter before I got him because they don't know what they missed. He's a great dog who never met a dog or person he didn't like. Happy Thanksgiving every one!

I really just want my dog to be happy and alive. By doing so, she is my #1 friend, and by being a dog is totally devoted to me. Who can ask for anything better?
Barked by: Gracie (Dogster Member)

November 29th 2009 at 6:06 am

I am thankful for Gracie because she came into my life when i needed her most. I suffer severe depression even with proper medication, but Gracie always makes me smile. She seems to make it her life's misssion. Without her, i would never leave my apartment.
Her devotion to me is only second than that of her devotion to my grandchildren.
Who could ask for more in a friend?

This holiday season I'm grateful for my dog because: 1. She is 8yrs. and still is so loyal and strives to please me. 2. Has stayed loyal to me and my family by protecting us in times. 3. Has been a very good friend. 4. She has been very helpful while trying different techniques on training dogs. Over all, in my opinion (and i'm sure many owners feel this way about there dogs too) she is the #1 Best dog God ever created!!

I am thankful that me and mama are surviving these tough times just fine - along with my 3 birdie brothers. I'm mama's #1 best friend and get to sleep on her pillow. We're all healthy and loved, and life is pretty smooth. We love all our Dogster friends who have been right there with us through thick and thin. We couldn't ask for much more.

All of the above! And for the time we had with the dog who passed this year.
Barked by: Bailey (Dogster Member)

Bailey was given to me to be trained as an alert dog because I have epilepsy and when he was a small puppy.. he learned to figure out what was aboutto happen and circle me kinda herding me to a safe place to fall then bark like crazy for help... As it was.. out of his whole litter.. he was the "chosen" one for comformation shows and is now a Champion... but his first duty is to always make sure I am ok.. thats why he is so special to me..
