Sprite loves to play, chew, and run like any other puppy would. He's also got this 'thing' for food - he goes crazy when he smells food coming!
Pet-Peeves:
He doesn't like getting corrected - it usually results in a growl or a bark. He isn't that fond of car rides either, but we're working on that.
Favorite Toy:
He'll play with just about anything! Including someone's dirty socks, towels, pretty much anything he can get his teeth around.
Favorite Food:
Sprite is being fed Horizon Legacy at the moment. As for treats, he loves anything, especially apples, carrots, and bananas!
Favorite Walk:
Just a nice walk around the neighborhood.
Best Tricks:
We are working on teaching him 'sit'. He knows it pretty well now. He also knows 'down'.
Arrival Story:
My brother and I had been begging our parents for a dog since we were young. Upon finding an ad in the newspaper about a litter of Beagle puppies for sale, we immediately were attached to the pup and brought him home a while later.

It's been three weeks.
Three weeks since we brought Sprite, our male Beagle puppy, into our home.
But it feels as if it has been three months. In fact, I wish it had been three months. That would make Sprite five months old, and maybe he would be more mature by then.
It seems as if this is never going to end. I have bite and scratch marks on my arms from Sprite. The only time he is ever calm is right after he has slept. I know it's just because he is a puppy - only two months old. And I know that he isn't trained, and that when he bites he is just playing. But I sometimes wish that I had gotten a trained dog instead of a puppy.
Maybe this is a rant. Maybe it isn't, but I had to get it out of my system.
All I want to hear right now is some reassuring story about someone who had a puppy who was like Sprite - a puppy that finally grew up an became a loving dog.
