Although secluded, this camp area is close to major amenities and popular trails, and offer wide sweeping meadows (many times with wildlife), and 3 nearby waterfalls. There are restrooms, hot showers, a laundry, water, and a dump station as well. Dogs of all sizes are allowed for no additional fee. Dogs must be under owner's control, on no more than a 6 foot leash or securely crated, and cleaned up after at all times. Dogs are not to be left unattended. Dogs are not allowed on about 14 miles of the trails; please ask the attendant at the gate for a list of the trails. Dogs are not allowed in buildings. This rv park is closed during the offseason. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground. There are no electric or water hookups at the campgrounds.

This is the smallest campground in the park and offers a quiet rustic setting. The 32 sites are on a first-come first-served basis, and flush toilets, coin showers, a laundry, and campstore are on site. Since the Appalachian Trail runs through this campground, hikers pitching a tent for the night are a common sight. Dogs of all sizes are allowed for no additional fee. Dogs must be under owner's control, on no more than a 6 foot leash or securely crated, and cleaned up after at all times. Dogs are not to be left unattended. This is the parks largest and southern-most camp area, and sitting atop a mountain at 3,400 feet it offers great panoramic views. There are 219 fairly secluded sites available on a 1st come 1st served basis and by reservation, and the camp area provides restrooms, showers, a laundry, picnic tables, fire grates, amphitheater, a camp store, dump station, and close by is a restaurant and gas station. Dogs of all sizes are allowed for no additional fee. Dogs must be under owner's control, on no more than a 6 foot leash or securely crated, and cleaned up after at all times. This is the closest camp area entering from the north, and it offers a nature trail, a hiking trail to the tallest waterfall in the park, and a seasonal wayside with a cafeteria, camp store, snack bar, and gift shop. Dogs must be under owner's control, on no more than a 6 foot leash or securely crated, and cleaned up after at all times.
