“With over 2,000 acres on the Sabinal River, this park offers a variety of nature and archaeological study, in addition to land and water recreation. Dogs of all sizes are allowed at no additional fee. Dogs may not be left unattended, and they must be on no more than a 6 foot leash, and be cleaned up after. Dogs are not allowed in public swim areas or buildings. Dogs are allowed on the trails. The campgrounds are closed for a couple of weeks each year in January for hunting. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground.”
