Overpriced and dingy.The selection in this store for cats and dogs was slim, and what they did have seemed kind of pricey. The store has been around forever and seems dingy and dirty. They may cater more to the fish lover, though, as it seemed like they had a lot of stuff for aquariums. There were two poodle or bichon pups in the back that were caged, and while the cages they were in looked ok, I would be amazed if any time was spent with them at all. Most cages were empty. The staff was completely absorbed in doing other things rather than helping customers - watching TV, gossiping, watching their kids (yes, the cashier had her daughter at work with her). I wasn't greeted when I came in (it's not that big of a place, and two people saw me walk in) and it took 3 minutes of me standing at the counter to check out before anyone realized I was there. I might go back in the case of absolute emergency, but this will not be a place I frequent at all. |
