“You and your pooch can enjoy an elegant horse drawn carriage ride in downtown Austin. This carriage services offers one hour Historic Day Tours on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 4pm. You will view downtown Austin's Congress Avenue, the State Capitol and Grounds, the Bremond Area and much more. They also offer Downtown Evening Rides from 7pm to 11pm. There are two ways to take this carriage ride. You can either flag down one of the carriages located in downtown or call the dispatcher about 2 hours ahead of time and they will have a carriage pick you up from a downtown location like a hotel or restaurant (like the dog-friendly Carmelos at 504 E 5th). Rates are $45 for a half hour tour and $85 for one hour. There is a $5 discount if paying by cash. ”
