Great park, great dogs, and (mostly) great owners!

For the most part, the Bark Park is great. Our biggest complaint is some of the owners can be irresponsible. A male dog tried to mount one of our females, and the owner stood less than five feet away, laughing, rather than trying to stop the dog. That sort of behavior occurred on more than one visit, so we typically head into Nashville and go to Centennial now. Also, there is apparently a dog park in Mt. Juliet. Holly, as for the people with small dogs in the big pens, that's a risk they knowingly take, so don't worry about your dog running free. We have a 65lb. German Shepherd and an 8lb. Italian Greyhound, so our little one always goes in the big dog pen. If we separated them, they would sit by the dividing fence and stare at each other rather than play. People with small dogs know what they're getting into, so just let your dog have fun and let them worry about the little one!

Bark Park review

Yesterday was my first visit to the Bark Park. It was AWESOME! I got to play with lots of other dogs and their people and I got to go swimming in the river!(although Mom made me be on leash for that part :( ) The only negative Mom has to say about our experience has nothing todo with the park itself, but rather some of the people there. If you own a big dog, do a quick check of the area because for some reason people don't always follow the rules- ex. today a lady had her BABY and her TEA CUP CHIHUAHUA in the big dog area. Holly is 70 lbs., she could have easily squished them. Still, our overall experience was great and we will be going back VERY soon.

Fun Times

This is the best place to meet new dogs. I love being able to run with a huge pack.
