Bubba was adopted from here and the staff was terrific. My sister adopted her dog about 3 years ago, and she was very happy with them.

An OK Shelter

I have been with my cousin twice when he adopted a cat from them. The first time was about 12 years ago when Morris was a really goos shelter. We had an excellent experience and the facility was spotless. However, last year when I went with him to adopt another cat the place had really gone down hill. It was dirty and the staff was incredibly rude and outright mean. He was not allowed to adopt a cat b/c he still lives at home with his mom, and eventhough he is an adult (28) they insisted (in a very rude manner) that his mother be present so she could meet the cat. We were told in a very flippant manner to come back with his mother and maybe they would consider reviewing his adoption application (which takes 6 weeks to process!)Needless to say we left without a cat that day, and a very bad impression of a shelter that used be very nice. I did a bit of research and have found that they have a very high kill-rate because funds are so low. I do not recommend this shelter to anyone anymore.
