Spawns first time at the dog park

We went last week and he had a ball. My 8 year old son enjoyed it also. They have 2 areas which is kind of neat for the smaller dogs. There wasn't too much people there but we still had fun. I will definitely go back there again. It is a ride from where I am but it's worth it for him to be able to mingle with other dogs. They also have a brook where they can get wet and enjoy the water, it's pretty cool. I gave it 4 paws instead of 5 because they need to have more trees for the dogs to give them some shade if they want to releax.

Playtime

I know the route we take to get to the dog park and once we are on our way there I go nuts, my mom has to yell at me to "chill" but she smiles while she's doing it because she knows that I'm just so happy. When we get there I try to get all the other dogs to chase me. If you see me there you should know I may be very big but I am ALWAYS the submissive dog and good with little dogs. If my mom yells at me it's because she want to keep it that way before I become an adult. The only thing I don't like about the park is that sometimes I start picking up bad habits of other dogs. I'm training to be a therapy dog so if I start doing things that wouldn't be accepted by the ITD standards my visits become less frequent. My mom always remembers to put a dollar in the donation box when she's leaving any little bit helps to keep this park available to me and other pampered pups. Hope to see you there!!!

Wantage was Awesome!

Today was our first visit to the new dog park in Wantage, and it was soooo much fun! We were there in the early afternoon and there were plenty of friends to play with. The dog friends were well mannered, and the people were friendly and very welcoming to new comers. The park was big and clean and beautiful. Wonderful place.
