“Our shelter is located in beautiful Manchester, New Hampshire, just minutes from highway 293. The shelter is wholly operated by the Friends of the Manchester Animal Shelter (FMAS), a non-profit organization comprised almost entirely of volunteers. The shelter serves the community by taking in stray and homeless animals, providing them with medical treatment, food, and shelter, and then making them available for adoption to the general public. The process is never ending as each year nearly 1,000 cats and 300+ dogs find their way to our door. ”
A no-kill shelter that needs support! My mom has taken me here many times. She is on the Board of Directors. When she cared for the cats I would walk by their cages and play keepaway when they tried to snatch my fuzzy tail. The shelter also has fun dog-friendly events I go to and help raise money to support the homeless pets there! |
