“This is a small lake that is state owned. You must have leashes and tags for your pets. Walgren lake is popular to the locals for camping and ice fishing. Has boat ramp, hiking, and picinic facilities. ”
Fun Stomping GroundsThis is one of my two favorite lakes to go play at. Since it's in the country, there isn't an exact address. You know how hickville is..BoL! We like to go and walk the entire lake, playing with sticks; chasing pheasants, skunks, ducks..whatever we find. It's peaceful, especially in the winter when you can get away with no being on leash. However, come tourist season, don't get caught without a leash and up to date tags/shots. The game wardens do patrol the lake area. |
