HorribleBUYER BEWARE OF JOLIS WHISTLEDOWN GERMAN SHEPHERD DOGS. I purchased a puppy from Whistle Down within the last few years and just recently my dog was diagnosed with CRIPPLING HIP DISPLASIA. In addition, she was diagnosed with COLITIS at age 1 and requires expensive prescription food. Least important, but equally frustrating, my dogs ears never stood up. Breeder attempted multiple failed “ear-tapings with DUCT TAPE until we refused to continue because of the painful open-sores and scarring it caused. BEWARE, Lisa, owner and breeder of Whistle Down provides a worthless “guarantee” on her dogs. She tells you repeatedly that you are buying excellent quality GSD that is guaranteed against any genetic or congenital l diseases. The contract actually states that she will only EXCHANGE your dog, and only if you have not spayed/neutered the dog. If like me, you think its ridicules to exchange your dog, Lisa will also give you credit toward another dog . Both options are worthless because no one in their right mind would give up their dog after bonding with it. The second option to get credit for a new dog is pointless as well, why would you buy another SICK DOG from the same breeder? Absolute the biggest scam I have ever encountered – Lisa takes advantage of her clients. |
