Groomers & Spas
no longer our groomerWe used this groomer for about two years, going once every 3-4 months. We have recently stopped after having our dog's foot cut for the SECOND time. The first time, we were called and told about the incident- he stepped on a cutting tool (why was there a cutting tool where he could step on it?), anyway we gave them the benefit of the doubt and continued to return. When it happened again a few visits later, it was discovered when I picked him up- acutally when I went to unload him from the back of my SUV and found it covered in a thousand bloody footprints...so my husband called the groomer and asked what happened. They denied anything happened "it couldnt have happened here". Upon closer exam, it looked like a nail was cut WAY too short. Now I know people make mistakes, but fess up! And some $ off, discount next visit, or dont take a tip, etc. NOthing. Yes, our dog can be a pain in the rear, he barks a lot, etc. but no excuse for this. We know hes a pain, and we try to tip well to compensate. Other issues: grooming was sometimes good, but often just mediocre (ears not trimmed well, feathers/belly/tail area not trimmed well, etc.). I don't recommend this facility. |
