Don't get your dog groomed there!I thought I'd found a great groomer at Petsmart. She did a fantastic job of hand scissoring Parker and Jack, and their store policy (as was reiterated to me many times) was not NOT PUT SMALL DOGS IN CAGE DRYERS. Well, I found out the hard way THEY DO. I dropped off my neighbor's Pom Izzie to get groomed, and got back a little early. The groomer said "He's not ready, he's getting dried." Oh, okay, I thought. I looked around the room- No Izzie. I said "Where is he?" "He's in the back," she replied. I've been in the back. I know that the only place to get dried back there was a CAGE DRYER. I stormed back there and found 7lb Izzie, hot as all get out, in a cage dryer. I grabbed him out of there and asked to speak to a manager. She claimed that since they were so busy (with 2 other dogs and many stylists sitting around doing nothing) they had to put him in there. NO NO NO! We will NEVER EVER be back there again!!! Also, I'm not claiming that all Petsmart Grooming salons do this, but this one does! 1 pet found this review helpful |
