Macon Dog Park

I love this park. All three of my dogs love it. The people always have conversations as well as the pups. Great place to go!

Macon Dog Park

This is a nice place for the dogs of Macon and surrounding areas to come and play. We are not a fan of the drainage tunnels in the park. We have a dog who would LOVE to go exploring in the dark tunnels though most dogs seem not to care about them too much. It would be nice if there was some sort of bars across them but that is really not possible since there is a creek. It would not be a problem if your dog listens to you but ours is very hard-headed. It has not been that big of a deal but we have to watch her around them. We love that there is a creek though! Our dog and lots of the other dogs love to play in the creek!! So that's a lot of fun. It is nice that there are people trying to improve the dog park. It is a really nice place for our pets to socialize and there isn't another dog park around. There is a small doggy area, fenced off from the big play area. The gates to get into the park are double gates, so it would be hard for your pooch to escape when someone else was coming in. All in all it is a nice park for the dogs of Middle Ga.
