I'm a beach babeMy friend Suzy lives a block away from this beach and our Moms are buddies so I get to come here often. I really like this beach -- almost as much as the beach in front of Sam's Chowder House which is my all time favorite. Suzy has a big new sister called Coco who loves to swim. I personally prefer to swim in a swimming pool at a nice resort. |
Good for walkingWe took Duke there and walked him on the leash. Pacifica is a beautiful place to be anyway. Nice for walking the pups |
SurferThis is definitely a surfers beach since the waves are the best part of it. Pups are welcomed but must be on-leash and if you don't clean up and there's a Pacifican there you'll get you butt chewed off! The beach is a wide crescent shape and the sand is not very soft, but what the heck ya get on a long leash and GO FOR IT! There's a newly paved large parking lot for the beach along with new restrooms and showers. My auntie lives across the hwy from the beach and loves to watch the surfers change their wet-suits **blush**. At the north end of the beach there's a new mile long windy and hilly walkin' path that will really get your blood pumpin'. Oh and I forget to mention that there's a walk up window on the beach to what's recognized as the "One of the Most Beautiful Fast Food Restaurants in the Country" it's a Taco Bell with an incredible view! posted: February 23rd, 2007 |
