Bring fresh water and have a blast!

I love to run and play on Dog Beach, and my mom's friend got me a membership there for Christmas! I only have one concern: the water at this place is very strange. It tastes salty, and it runs away from you, but if you run after it, it starts to chase you! You have to run away fast or it will catch your feet! Be careful - you might get wet! There are some silly dogs who let the water touch them, but I can usually keep my paws dry while I play on the sand. Last time, I did play with a Boxer who kept running down to the surf, so I accidentally got my legs wet - and I didn't mind too much! By the way, make sure your people bring poop bags and water for you, because you shouldn't drink the salty water. And ask them to bring an umbrella, so you can rest in the shade if you get hot. (Of course, if you are one of the silly dogs who get wet, you probably won't get too hot in the sun...) Anyway, in spite of the weirdness of the water at Dog Beach, I highly recommend visiting often - all the dogs are nice, and it's a great big place to run and play!

Sooooo fun!

I've been to the beach a couple of times before but this place is pawsome!! I love being off leash so that I can run free on the beach. Also, I met a lot of fun new friends. Forget the dog park. I want Huntington Dog Beach!!

The Best Place for the Best Dogs

Princesses only deserve the best. Mom never takes me to those dog parks...hello, I need luxury! Dog Beach is great, I love it, off leash so mom can relax while I wear myself out meeting new pals. The water is great, it's right next to Huntington City Beach, for humans, so most of the surfers go there to surf, leaving our water open for us. I go home a tired, soggy princess...time to stop by my favorite dog spa, Good Dogma Pet Spa!
