“Originally a little known surfing beach, Huntington Dog Beach became an official dog park in the late 90s after the management of the beach was taken over by a non-profit organization then known as The Friends of Dog Beach. Locals and their dogs can now swim in the ocean and romp on the beach without fear of citations from the local law enforcement. Dog Beach is located in Huntington Beach on the west side of Pacific Coast Highway between Seapoint Street on the north and 21st Street on the south.”

HDB-the place to be!

Nothing's better for the skin and coat than a swim in the ocean and a roll in the sand. A tad messy, but by the time I'm dry, I smell sweet and clean just like a dog should. PS: Be sure to check out the waves when you're here-the bodysurfing is the best!
